Canting is a small thin wall spouted copper container that is connects to a wooden or bamboo handle. It comes in a variety of spout sizes. The spout can vary from 1mm in diameter for very fine detailed work to wider spouts used to fill in large design areas.

WAX

Common types of wax use for Batik consist of a mixture of Beeswax used for its malleability, and Paraffin, used for its friability. The ideal mixture is 30% beeswax to 70% paraffin wax.
